About Hannah Park
I experienced significant challenges in my early years due to multiple childhood traumas, and my healing journey began through Christian counseling. Through this process, I encountered deep restoration and came to know God as a loving Father whose redemptive purpose and compassion reach even into our pain. My healing journey included both individual therapy and group-based counseling, which eventually led me to pursue formal training in Christian counseling at Gateway Seminary. In addition to my academic training, I have provided counseling within a church setting and, following graduation, facilitated and taught church-based counseling courses for three consecutive semesters.
As a Christian counselor, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) within a strong biblical framework. My approach helps individuals understand how past wounds continue to shape present struggles, while guiding them toward emotional freedom, resilience, and spiritual renewal. I have developed and taught a seven-week, Scripture-centered counseling curriculum grounded in these therapeutic models and biblical principles. I am currently engaged in advanced training through the L.I.F.T. program, which is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. This training further deepens the integration of psychological insight and spiritual formation, supporting believers in their ongoing healing and growth into the likeness of Christ.
My heart is to provide a safe, faith-centered space where individuals can encounter the healing presence of God and discover that He is truly greater than any challenge they face. It is a privilege to walk alongside others as they rise from pain, rediscover hope, and move forward into restoration and God’s redemptive purposes for their lives.
